History

Curtis & Clark Engineering, LLC was founded in 1998 by Mark Clark and Army Curtis. Their vision was to provide electrical consulting and design to industrial and commercial customers in Texas, Arizona and Hawaii.

Mark, having spent his career as President and CEO of Clark Brothers Electrical Contractors, Inc., and Army, spending his career as Manager of Transmission and Distribution for Hawaii Electric Light Company (HELCO), came together to create a world class consulting and engineering team.

After the Texas Legislature deregulated the electricity market, the team began to investigate the idea of marketing and aggregating electricity through their network of contacts. Late in 2001 Curtis and Clark Engineering received notice of approval for their Electric Aggregator Registration from the Texas Public Utility Commission. Curtis and Clark Energy Services, LLC has developed an effective approach to the containment of electricity costs for customers both small and large.

In May 2009 a change of ownership in the electricity aggregation portion of the business was made. Curtis and Clark remain as active consultants to both the new owners and their clients.
